Rich Gang -Young Money

Reloaded and richer: the Cash Money Billionaires return with their first compilation album since 2009. When Young Money released their We Are Young Money album four years ago, they were undeniably the hottest team in hip-hop. Lil Wayne's army was young and hungry, as artists like Tyga and Nicki Minaj had yet to develop into superstars. Veterans such as Mystikal and Busta Rhymes have since joined the Young Money militia, though have failed to make a lasting impact with the group. Fast forward to 2013, where super crews like G.O.O.D. Music, Top Dawg Entertainment, and Maybach Music Group are all gunning for the top. With these squads constantly trying to outdo each other, it seems there is more money, more problems for the Young Money Cash Money Billionaires. Fortunately for Birdman, Rich Gang is a team effort. Backed by the lead single "Tapout", Rich Gang is a ten round beat down in which YMCMB members take swings at 808-infused beats. The result is a relatively solid album, where all the collaborations sound natural, with the exception of "Sunshine" featuring Limp Bizkit and Flo Rida. The biggest surprise isn't who's on the album, but rather who isn't on the album. Oddly enough, YMCMB superstar Drake is left off the project. While Drake's presence is missed, proven talents such as Future, R. Kelly, and Chris Brown keep the album sounding clean. After Mystikal's energetic intro "R.G.", Detail and Future sing over a beautifully crafted piano track for "Million Dollar", which serves as a prologue to "Tapout". Detail, an unfamiliar name to many, plays a major role on Rich Gang. The "No Worries" producer made several beats on the album, including his own solo track "Burn The House". "We Been On" is an outstanding track on the project, where R&B legend R. Kelly shines above all. "Got too many foreigns you need a passport to walk in my garage" sings the ageless wonder, who provides both an excellent verse and chorus. Lil Wayne completes the track with his verse, claiming he won't turn down for nothing. "Panties To The Side" has the recipe to become an instant club banger, though it lacks originality. The song features Tyga, whose verse sounds almost identical to his "Molly" verse, and Gudda Gudda, whose first few bars seem as if they were adopted straight from Future's smash hit, "Karate Chop". If it wasn't for Bow Wow's sharp verse and French Montana's catchy hook, the song would have been a disappointment. Although the Young Money squad did their best to accommodate for Drake's absence from the album, some of those cavities could not be filled. Drizzy is especially missed on songs like "We Been On" and the laid-back "Dreams Come True", where his started from the bottom demeanor would have fit in just fine. As for Detail, his contributions to the album are sure to open up many eyes and ears wondering what's next for the breakthrough artist. With Rich Gang, Birdman proves his YMCMB arsenal remains a force to be reckoned with.

Thirsty Ass Baby Momma - Future

Not only does rapper Future want a judge to keep his child support payments in the present and shoot down his baby mama's request for more cash ... he wants MORE custody of his son, Da Breaks has learned. First reported, Future (real name Nayvadius Cash) and baby mama Jessica Smith hammered out a child support agreement after a DNA test proved Future was the daddy of Smith's 10-year-old boy. But Smith came back a short while later demanding more money because she felt Future lied about how much money he makes. But in court docs filed last month in Georgia, Future says he financials are all on the up and up and Smith should not receive a penny more in support. He claims that Smith's attempt to use comments he's made in the press -- specifically the one where he claims he always has $25,000 on him at all times -- can't be used as part of the custody battle. In addition to blocking Smith's play for more money, Future is now angling for more custody. He claims Smith took their son out of school (after Future paid non-refundable tuition) without his permission and has "failed to deliver the minor child to school for unreasonable periods of time and/or delivered the child to school in tardy fashion." Future is seeking joint physical custody and wants Smith to pay his attorney's fees. A judge has yet to rule.

Mac Dre recorded his first three albums between 1989 and 1991. In 1992 Mac Dre was charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and was sentenced to 5 years in federal prison after he refused the deal the police had offered him, which was informing law enforcement about his partners. Subsequently, Hicks wasn't released from prison until 1997.At the time Hicks owned the record label, Romp Productions. His many references to "Romper Room" in his songs, bore a similarity the "Romper Room Gang", a group of robbers who had been victimizing banks and pizza parlors in Vallejo. Following allegations by authorities about his membership in the gang, Hicks was sentenced to a further five years in prison. He again refused a deal offered by law enforcement authorities that would have required him to inform on other gang members During his time in prison "Mac Dre': The Rompalation" was released in 1996. After his release from prison in 1997, he recorded his second album Stupid Doo Doo Dumb. It was released April 28, 1998. Following those albums, Hicks met with Executive Producer Bernard Gourley and recorded the album Rapper Gone Bad with production help from Tone Cappone, Lev Berlak, and Warren G. This started a new beginning for Hicks as he began to release albums steadily, building a huge catalog of music recorded at The Grill Studios in Oakland in 2000. Hicks's audience was growing, and mainstream hip-hop stations were beginning to give Hicks's music more airtime. Hicks relocated to Sacramento, California in 2001, where he founded the label, Thizz Entertainment.

Tension With Soulja Boy - D. Flores

D. Flores Hailing outta Las Vegas Who Takes this guy Srious? Its rumored Soulja Boy has dropped another SODMG artist. D.Flores, his long-time associate from Las Vegas, is said to have been released from Stacks on Deck Music Group or cut ties unofficially. Unsourced comments also give the notion that the “Versace” rapper will not pick up the phone for his once right hand. Releasing new Hip Hop video & song “No Love” today, it looks like July 2013 is kicking off with some tension. “No money no love, man f–k all you n–gas / Yeah, I love all my n–gas / no money, no love, f–k you n–gas / I love all my f–kin n–gas” raps D.Flores on the gangster track. The last few lines seem they could even further be inspired by the soured SODMG deal, “Dont say you love me cause i know you dont / Wont say i love you once you gone.” The gangster rap song send of a clear message of dislike for someone fake. While D.Flores does not speak of Soulja Boy on the song directly, if rumors do prove to be true, it could easily be inspired by frustrations of the relationship’s ending. It’s a similiar scenario to many prior SODMG artists but D.Flores would be the first to come out with a rap song and funding to properly address matters. The ‘City Star’ rapper has flashed probably half a million dollars in cars, cribs, guns, & cash throughout his YouTube career. lmfao YOutube Career.

Magna Carta - Jay Z Album

Back in June it was reported at hip-hop artist, Jay-Z, would be entering a $20 million deal with Samsung in which his Magna Carta album would be an exclusive to Samsung’s Galaxy devices and where the album would then be pushed out to Galaxy owners via the Magna Carta app on the 4th of July. Unfortunately things rarely work out the way intended and unsurprisingly it seems that Jay-Z’s Magna Carta album has since been leaked online and can be found on various websites for download, illegal of course. This pretty much renders the deal Samsung made with Jay-Z useless, although we doubt getting an exclusive album on your phone wasn’t exactly the biggest incentive to drop a few hundred dollars to begin with. In any case we guess Samsung did manage to get quite a bit of PR out of it, especially since their brand is tied with one of the most popular musicians in today’s entertainment scene. The album, if you do not own a Galaxy device, will be available for purchase in stores on the 9th of July, and while it is available for download illegally, we do not condone it!: PEEP THIS FIRE ASS TRACK

More Stress on Meek Mills

A judge in rapper Meek Mill's hometown of Philadelphia has ordered him to take etiquette classes based on his actions in and outside the courtroom. Judge Genece Brinkley said "Meek Mill has a lot of issues" and ordered him to take the classes by August 4. At the MMG rapper and Dream Chasers Records CEO latest probation hearing for his 2008 drug dealing and gun possession conviction, prosecutors said that his public conduct and social media activity could "affect his freedom." The judge received threats from Meek's fans after he posted "aggressive" messages about the situation online. Judge Brinkley and prosecutors also claim Meek Mill has continued to travel without permission from his probation officer. The last year hasn't been a bit crazy for the Philadelphia rapper. He had rap beef with fellow Philly rapper Cassidy. Then Twitter beef with Shyne. Then he had a feud with pastor Jomo K. Johnson over the track "Amen." Most recently, Meek has had to deal with the news that 18-year-old rapper Lil Snupe was killed. Meek had signed Lil Snupe to his label about 20 minutes after listening to his demo. Snupe was killed shortly after in Louisiana.

Kevin Gates has been killing the hip hop scene as of lately in 2013..His most recent mixtape The Luca Brasi Story was called "easily the best rap-related thing" in February 2013 by Spin Magazine, who also said he has "been a rapper to watch for a few years now".[2] "The Luca Brasi Story" has been downloaded from popular mixtape sharing site, DatPiff, over 60,000 times.[3] On February 15, 2013 it was announced that Kevin Gates signed to Atlantic Records.[4] Gates was also featured on Pusha T's 2013 mixtape "Wrath of Caine" on the song "Trust You
